  14. INSTALLATION:

  16. To permanently install JETCOL: copy JETCOL.EXE and all font files with the 2CL
  17. extension to any directory . Ideally it should be a directory included in your
  18. PATH statement so that you can run JETCOL from any current directory. Font files
  19. must be in the same directory as as JETCOL.EXE or you will get a font file error
  20. when you run the program. All font files should be included until you determine
  21. which ones you do not intend to use.

  63. Option (-?) causes JETCOL to ask for filenames to print. Useful when JETCOL is
  64. run from a menu or an icon. Filenames can still be entered on the command line
  65. as well.

  67. Modified the (-O) option, which prints odd pages only, to ask whether the user
  68. wants to print even pages next. This allows for printing both sides without
  69. rerunning the program.

  71. A "press any key to continue" message now appears whenever JETCOL displays a
  72. message at exit. This makes it possible to read error messages when run from an
  73. icon or a menu program. Previously,under these conditions the message would
  74. disappear before it could be read.

  76. Registration codes are now individualized. This means that currently registered
  77. users must upgrade to use this new version of JETCOL. This is the first time an
  78. upgrade fee has ever been required for JETCOL. See registration in JETCOL.DOC.

  80. The DOS printer timeout interval is now  decreased while JETCOL is running.
  81. Some people have commented that their system appears to hang sometimes while
  82. running JETCOL. This is due to the long timeout delay DOS uses for the printer
  83. before displaying an error message. If a shorter timeout causes any problems, I
  84. would appreciate hearing from you. It is good practice to make sure your printer
  85. is on-line before running JETCOL.
